How Dust & Salt began.

It all begins with an idea … DUST & SALT came to life in 2019.

The moments in my day I most looked forward to included time spent with my dog Copper. Having just left the corporate world, I reached out to Copper’s dog walker ( Laina @ Santa Barbara Dog Jog ) to see if she needed any help with her clients. From there a passion and love for dogs, their owners, and Santa Barbara began to take root.

Between 2019 - 2023 I worked as a dog walker and jogger for SB Dog Jog and got acquainted with how necessary a dog exercise service is in town. Now, 2024, we have 3 dogs of our own, 5 chickens, a sulcata tortoise and crested gecko plus a limitless love for our community and its animal residents.
