Leave it better than you found it.

In the true essence of stewardship, the idea of leaving things in better shape than when you first got there has become my guiding principle. Over time, I have adopted it as my personal credo and a way of life. From family to community and our environment - there are multiple ways in which we can be stellar stewards.

One of the BIG aspects of dog walking is picking up after your pet. I pride myself on always carrying compostable doggy poo bags. Waste bags are purchased from local retailers as well as online, and always biodegradable. Not the most glamorous part of dog care, but super duper important.

No matter what situation, relationship, place, or job you're a part of you should always add value to it and leave it better than you found it.
